Illustrator and web design magician Grant Killoran aka @chl0rine has just posted up the new WSAD website design. Over the last few months Grant and I have been working in tandem on projects related to WSAD. I've been working on some promotional material to launch the site around WSA and beyond and he's been working on the website.

It's good to see the final design up and now we can hopefully build on spreading the directory further around the web! I shall be tinkering my designs for the promo material too ready to be handed out at the beginning of the next school year. Exciting times ahead!

Not really sure what this is...

Just something I've been experimenting with today. Not really sure what it is but I kind of want to get over my inability to draw/make stuff that resembles real things and not just shapes. For some reason, I lack confidence in making stuff like this.

Some kind of girl fox/devil in a dress?! I have no idea but I like the textures and colours. Having real trouble liking anything at the moment, silly really haha.

World Cup fever...

My blog has been pretty dominated by my football inspired designs and I'm afraid it's not letting up for now! However, I've just created a Flickr so I can post most of the images I'm creating surrounding the World Cup and football on there allowing my blog to breathe a little.

So far it's seemed like a good move as I'm getting my work out to people who never would have seen it before. From now on if I have anything new I just want to chuck up online you'll probably find it through my Flickr. I want to try and make my blog more about works in progress/new techniques etc. I should really start getting a site together so I can display all my finished work!

Check this World Cup inspired art group I've created, building up quite a collection! http://www.flickr.com/groups/worldcupart/

I have one image for you and then the rest I shall be directing you to my Flickr! Enjoy.

Quick post - got the prints today!

From zine to a print...

Thinking of making something I had from my 'Khan' zine into an A3 print. Just drafting and throwing bits and pieces together at the moment. I want to try and put an actual drawing/collage into this maybe instead of the half tone shapes in the background currently. I thinking I'll use the half tone stuff but try and draw with it. Could work?!

Let me know what you think!
